I don't know where to start with this little beauty but let's just say
that this is a beauty all-rounder and quite frankly, a must-have to have in
your bathroom (or to take on vacation - saves space in your toiletry bag as this
does everything): cleanses, exfoliates, hydrates and the scent makes you feel amazing.
Firstly, the packaging is a delight.
A British artist, Alice Shields has designed a pretty floral box and
inside you will find the famous blue glass pot and an organic muslin cloth. Looks great in your bathroom. Once the lid has been removed, your olfactory receptor neurons go into overdrive – a fabulous wild rose bouquet hits your sensory
passages to calm and soothe the mind.
In beauty, rose
essences has been known for centuries for their healing, hydrating, antibacterial
and therapeutic properties, not to mention helping to invigorate and replenish
the skin too. Wild Rose Beauty Balm, contains
Chilean rosehip oil which provides rich antioxidants (and my favourite, Vitamin C) to protect the skin against
environmental aggressors and this results in a radiant, even-toned and glowing
appearance.
To cleanse the skin, take a five pence
piece blob from the jar, massage it in your hands to warm it up and smooth on
the face, using circular movements to gently lift off make-up, dirt and sebum. To remove, wash with warm water or for a deep
cleanse and mild exfoliation, wet the
muslin cloth and wipe off. After using
your toning lotion and eye gel, you can moisturise
by applying a thin layer to the skin.
For a weekly treat, use the Balm as a mask to rehydrate your skin.
It’s also great to use as a lip balm too.
Should you
find that your skin is sensitive, sore or sun-burnt, the Balm will help to heal
and replenish these areas.
Perhaps I
should be calling this little beauty a ‘big little beauty’ as it has so many
benefits. This is a win-win for inner
and outer beauty.
